Hyderabad stands united, residents hold candlelight protest against hate crime, racial attacks

Hyderabad (Telangana), Mar 10 (ANI): Residents gathered at the KBR National Park late last evening and took out a candlelight vigil to protest alleged hate crimes in the U.S. Tributes were also paid to the Hyderabad techie, Kuchibhotla Srinivas who had his birthday yesterday and was a victim of racial attack in the U.S. Yesterday's vigil organised by the Telangana chapter of the All India Peace and Solidarity Organisation (AIPSO) and the Telangana NRI Parents' Association, saw people raising slogans such as 'Johar Kuchibhotla Srinivas and Vamsi Reddy' and 'Down with hate crimes'.
