Bhopal – In view of by-elections in two Assembly constituencies of Madhya Pradesh, BJP’s Madhya Pradesh Election Committee would hold its meeting tomorrow.
The by-election in Ater was necessitated by then Leader of the Opposition Satyadev Katare's demise. The by-poll in Bandhavgarh was caused by the resignation of Gyan Singh ? after he was elected to the Lok Sabha from Shahdol. Filing of nominations for the two by-elections began with the issuing of notification on March 14. The last date of filing nomination is March 21. Scrutiny will take place on March 22, while the names could be withdrawn till March 24. Polling is scheduled to take place on April 9. Counting would be done on April 13. According to sources, the party could field Arvind Bhadauria from Ater. A kin of Mr Singh can get ticket from Bandhavgarh.
