Kalaburagi, Mar 18 (UNI) Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, (BJP) at the Centre orders to probe Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Sahara- Birla Diary than the Congress in the State would order probe to Congress MLC K Govindaraj's diary that was stated to be seized by Income Tax sleuths in March last year. Talking to presspersons here before proceeding to inaugurate Gulbarga University 'Shivasharne Hemareddy Mallama ' Study Centre here, he said that BJP stalling the Assembly proceedings demanding discussion on the Diary issue only for the sake of publicity and it shows that party is not interested to discuss on drought or budget. Mr Siddaramaiah said 'The BJP has fabricated evidence against Congress leaders to malign their reputation. If they found the diary in a raid conducted in March 2016, why did they wait so long to make it public? They are spreading false news just ahead of the polls to ruin the image of Congress in the staste as it is one of the few states the party is in power'. Mr Siddaramaiah said that Mr Yeddyurappa has lost his mental balance. He is under the 'illusion' of becoming the Chief Minister again but Congress will return to power in 2018 Assembly election. "I ask Mr Yeddyurappa, not to be under illusion. People of Karnataka will not bless (him) again. Under my leadership and Sonia and Rahul Gandhi's, we are hoping to win the 2018 assembly election," he added. On Opposition leader in the Legislative Assembly Jagadish Shettar reported statement to not allow the assembly to function unless Congress clarified on Diary issue, the Chief Minister said " I am not a Supreme Court Chief Justice, we will not entertain this type of nonsense."
