Adarsh Charitable Foundation continues its flood relief support in Rajasthan & Gujarat

The problems faced by flood victims is same everywhere whether it is Jalore, Sirohi or Banaskantha. There is no clean drinking water or food available to the flood victims. There is grief and sadness everywhere. The villages have completely transformed into islands surrounded by water. The road which connects to Mount Abu has been closed  on 4th August as work is going on to clear the heavy rock which fell on the road. According to the information provided by Mount Abu municipal corporation , the road of Abu Road will remain closed from 10 am to 4 pm on 4th August. The work for clearing the road will take place during this time. The tourist and travellars are requested to avoid Abu road on 4th August. Adarsh Charitable Foundation, CSR arm of Adarsh Credit Co-operative Society Ltd is reaching out to the flood victims and providing flood relief work to them. Despite tough weather conditions , Adarsh Charitable Foundation volunteers are working round the clock in the distribution of flood relief materials.Today 1000 milk containers were distributed to flood victims in Dhanera. On the other hand, free medical camp was organised in Bhaakdiali village of Lakhni Block and 300 patients had undergonemedical checkup and were given medicines. In addition to this, in Pavdasan village of Dhanera , 150 patients were examined and in Jorpura , 250 patients were examined and given free medicines. On emergency request from Jalore Administration, 1000 food kits were immediately sent to Sanchor. Preparation is already going on to send next truck with food supplies in Sanchor.
