Usman Khan replaces Mohammad Amir for Lanka ODIs
Karachi [Pakistan], Oct 9: Injured Pakistan pacer Mohammad Amir has been replaced by Usman Khan Shinwari in the 15-member squad for the upcoming five-match ODI series against Sri Lanka, beginning October 13 in the UAE. Shinwari, who has appeared in a total of four T20Is since his debut in 2013, has been on the national selectors' radar for the past two years,ESPNcricinfo reported. Having missed a major chunk of the 2014-15 season, Shinwari has bagged a total of 44 wickets in 12 first-class matches he played. Shanwari, who is yet to play ODI or Test cricket, has also been an integral part of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) franchise Karachi Kings and has also been retained by the team for the third season of the tournament.
