James Toback’s agent drops him
Washington D.C [USA], October 24 : James Toback is no longer being represented by his agent Jeff Berg. The Oscar-nominated writer and director has been dropped as a client after 38 women accused Toback of sexual harassment, reports The Hollywood Reporter. Berg is chairman of Northside Services, the agency that represents another notoriously embattled Hollywood director Roman Polanski. This comes after reports of alleged of sexual harassment and misconduct by the director to around thirty-eight women came to light. Toback who helmed films like 'The Pick-up Artist' (1987), 'Black and White' (1999) and 'Two Girls and a Guy' (1998), used his status to lure the women into auditions, meetings and interviews that would quickly turn sexual. They victims also accused him of sexual conquests, touched them inappropriately and even masturbated in front of them. However, the director has vehemently denied all the allegations.
