First Indian skiing medalist Aanchal Thakur receives grand welcome at Kullu Airport
Kullu (HP), Jan 13 : 21-year-old girl Aanchal Thakur from Himachal Pradesh became the first ever Indian to win an international skiing medal. She won Bronze Medal in Alpine Ejder 3200 Cup in Turkey organised by International Ski Federation (FIS). She arrived in India and received a grand welcome at Kullu Airport on Saturday. Prime Minister Narendra Modi was one among the first to congratulate her on her achievement.
