Andhra government committed to develop it as knowledge hub: CM Naidu

Guntur (Andhra Pradesh), Feb 03 : Vice President M. Venkaiah Naidu, along with Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, attended the Golden Jubilee function of JKC College in Guntur. On this occasion, alumni of the college collected and donated Rs .2 crore to the college. While addressing the gathering, Chief Minister Naidu said that he and the Vice President, both entered politics when they were student leaders. Congratulating JKC College for celebrating the Golden Jubilee, CM Naidu said that the prestigious institute has produced number of politicians, bureaucrats, civil servants, police officers and industrialists. Andhra Pradesh CM praised the scholars for their achievements and said that his government is trying to make the state a knowledge hub for the youths. In IT sector, every fourth technocrat in ten is an Indian. Of them, one is Telugu. This is a matter of pride for us, CM Naidu added. Chief Minister Naidu further said: Government will support all your requirements. JKC College is a brand name. That is a boon to the students of this college. Neither me, nor Venkaiah Naidu have any Godfather. Only our will power and hard work made us this big. You too can achieve if you set your goals and strive for it.(ANI)
