MP Bypolls Results:Congress leading over BJP by 3222 votes after the fourteenth round of counting

Madhya Pradesh bypolls results 2018: Congress leading by over 3222 votes in Mungaoli, Kolaras after 14 rounds of counting. According to latest reports, the Congress is leading in both the Assembly constituencies in MP. After 10 rounds of counting, the Congress is leading by 3,622 votes in Mungaoli and 3,436 votes in Kolaras. It is direct contest between the Congress and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in these two Assembly seats in Madhya Pradesh.

In Mungaoli, the fight is between Brijendra Singh of the Congress and Baisahab Yadav of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Senior Congress leader and former minister Mahendra Singh Kalukheda, who was the Mungaoli MLA, died in September last year. In Kolaras, Congress leader and sitting MLA Ram Singh Yadav died of a heart attack in October last year. The Congress, in a bid to garner sympathy votes, has fielded Ram Singh Yadav's son Mahendra Singh Yadav from Kolaras. Devendra Jain is the ruling BJP's candidate.
