Madhusudan Mistry to chair Cong screening committee for Karnataka poll
New Delhi,Mar 1(UNI) The Congress on Thursday set up a screening committee for the assembly elections in Karnataka to be chaired by AICC general secretary Madhusudan Mistry. The committee, constituted by Congress president Rahul Gandhi, will have Karnataka chief minister Siddaramiah and state PCC president as its ex officio members. According to a release by AICC General secretary Janardhan Dwivedi, ''The committee will include party MPs Tamradhwaj Sahu and Gaurav Gogoi. '' Rahul had earlier this week set up a 43 member elections committee for Karnataka. Election to the Karnataka assembly are scheduled to be held in May.
