Post-mortem report suggests suicidal ingestion, says police

Purulia (West Bengal), Jun 03 (ANI): As the investigations in the deaths of two Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)'s workers are going on, Purulia's Superintendent of Police Akash Magharia said the post-mortem reports of the second BJP worker suggests the death took place due to suicidal ingestion. He said, 'We have received the post mortem report and according to which the reason of death is 'due to asphyxia, hanging ante mortem and suicidal ingestion'. Regarding the case of Trilochan Mahato, whose body was earlier found hanging from a tree,' the SP said. 'The case is going in right direction and the state has given the case to CID. The investigation is going on in best possible way.' The BJP worker, Dulal Kumar was found hanging from a pole in Balarampur of Purulia district on Saturday. Earlier on Wednesday, a body of a 20-year-old BJP activist Trilochan Mahato was found hanging from a tree in the same district.
