Ban construction in Delhi temporarily, air quality monitor all time high: Environmentalist
New Delhi, Jun 13 (ANI): Environmentalist Vimlendu Jha assessed the current environmental scenario surrounding New Delhi, and the immediate steps that the Centre should undertake to dodge increasing adverse effects of pollution. Vimlendu said, ?Construction in the city has been really extreme and the trees cut down for construction activities for Central and State activities is extreme.? He further suggested that construction should be banned in Delhi temporarily to bring down the 600 AQI reading on the air quality monitor (AQI), which is hazardous to health. A normal or ideal AQI reading is 51-100.
