Upcoming book ‘Bihar Dairies’ by IPS officer Amit Lodha to be soon made into Bollywood movie

14 June 2018 , Jaisalmer : Soon to be launched book titled Bihar Dairies written by IPS Officer Amit Lodha narrates the thrilling account of how IPS Officer Amit Lodha arrested Vijay Samrat, one of Bihar's most feared ganglords, notorious for extortion, kidnapping and the massacre of scores of people. The book follows the adrenaline-fuelled chase across three states during IPS Officer Amit Lodha's tenure as superintendent of police of Shekhpura, a sleepy town in Bihar.

Cricketer Virendra Sehwag has also tweeted about this book and he has introduced the author IPS officer Amit Lodha to his fans and urged his fans to read it as it will be wonderful experience to know the battle to catch the most dangerous criminal by the IPS officer Amit Lodha himself.

IPS Officer Amit Lodha had motivated Akshay Kumar to create the website https://bharatkeveer.gov.in/ which is digital platform that was launched on April 9, which allows anyone to make direct monetary donations to the families of martyred Indian soldiers of paramilitary forces.

Amit Lodha is a 1998-batch IPS officer of the Bihar cadre. He is presently the Deputy Inspector General of the Border Security Force, posted in Jaisalmer. He has been honoured with the Excellent Contribution Award for successfully initiating a police-public partnership for better policing in Bihar's Nalanda district during his tenure as the superintendent of police there. He launched SAMBHAV- an organization under the aegis of the Nalanda district police to tap the power of the youth towards community development. The organization successfully engaged the youth in tackling important social issues. Showcasing exemplary leadership, Amit Lodha has played an instrumental role in a number of successful police operations. Amit Lodha has been the recipient of various awards and commendations, including the acclaimed President’s Police Medal of Gallantry and the Internal Security Medal.
