Para-cyclists kick off Infinity Ride to raise funds for charity
Shimla (HP), Aug 05 (ANI): The para-cyclists kicked off Infinity Ride on Sunday where 40 cyclists are riding 725 kilometers from Shimla to Manali to raise funds for former BSF personnel who have lost their limbs. The ride named Infinity Ride was organised by Border Security Force (BSF) and Aditya Mehta foundation. The riders included para-cyclists of former BSF and 20 fundraising cyclists. The cycling expedition will pass through Shimla to Manali via Narkanda, Rampur, Sangla, Kalpa, Nako, Tabo, Kaza, Losar, Chattru, and Palchan. BSF and Aditya Mehta Foundation will support and counsel the disabled and encourage them to come forward and participate in such events. Aditya Mehta, the founder of the Aditya Mehta foundation said that these cyclists were provided artificial limbs and are encouraging other people with disability to get training in sports. He said the fund is raised for the growth of the people with disability.
