Thousands participate in Delhi Half Marathon amid poor air quality
New Delhi, Oct 21 (ANI): This year?s annual event of Delhi Half Marathon commenced at 5 am on Sunday. The marathon was flagged off in parts from Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium and from near NDMC. Approximately 35 thousand marathoners participated in the run. People of all ages enthusiastically participated in the various categories of the marathon. Indian Medical Association (IMA) had earlier suggested the marathon organisers cancel this years run owing to extremely poor air quality. Running in poor health could affect the lungs and heart, according to former president of IMA, KK Agarwal.
