Traffic movement in Bhubaneswar affected due to strike called by trade unions
Bhubaneswar (Odisha), Jan 08 (ANI): Traffic movement remained affected on National Highway 16 due to protest by Central Trade Unions in Bhubaneswar, Odisha. Their demands include minimum wages and social security among others. Commuters faced problem as the strike caused 5-km long heavy jam on the NH-16. Children took part in the strike and were seen playing football on the National Highway. A two-day nationwide strike has been called by central trade unions on January 8-9 against the alleged repressive policies for workers adopted by Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led government.
