BSP and SP Alliance Will Leave Modi-Shah Sleepless
The Bahujan Samaj Party and the Samajwadi Party, two major political parties in Uttar Pradesh, reported their alliance for 2019 Lok Sabha elections on Saturday, 12 January. "This public interview will give PM Modi, Amit Shah sleepless nights," BSP supremo Mayawati said sitting beside SP chief Akhilesh Yadav while making the declaration in Lucknow's Taj Mahal Hotel. Both parties have been locking horns for as long as two decades in the state – yet now they have called a truce. They are set to declare their tie-up for the general elections, keeping Congress out of it. Photo Courtesy: Google.
