Eddie Murphy is back with ‘Coming to America’ spin-off
Washington D.C. [USA], Jan 12 : It is occurring! Hollywood performer Eddie Murphy is good to go to repeat his job as Prince Akeem in the spin-off of 'Coming to America.' The on-screen character affirmed that the movie is formally in the pipeline and will be coordinated by Craig Brewer, reports Entertainment Weekly. "After numerous long stretches of expectation, I'm excited that Coming to America 2 is formally pushing ahead. We've amassed an extraordinary group that will be driven by Craig Brewer, who simply worked to perfection on 'Dolemite Is My Name', and I'm anticipating bringing all these work of art and darling characters back to the wide screen," Murphy said in an announcement. At first, in 2017, the studio had enlisted Jonathan Levine to guide the spin-off of the exemplary 1988 satire, yet he has since bowed out. The content of the motion picture is being written by Black-ish maker Kenya Barris. The first story was scripted by Barry Blaustein and David Sheffield. The 1988 adaptation spun around an enchanting African sovereign (Eddie Murphy) who headed out to New York City to get away from an orchestrated marriage. Eddie Murphy's past credits incorporate 'Norbit', 'Shrek' and 'Mr. Church.'
