Foggy morning in Delhi, temperature recorded at 7.1 degrees Celsius
New Delhi, Jan 12: It was a foggy morning in the national capital on Saturday with the minimum temperature recorded at 7.1 degrees Celsius, the season's normal. The climate office anticipated light rain towards the night which may acquire some enhancement the air quality levels "which have effectively enhanced over the most recent couple of days because of high wind speed". "There was moderate fog in the morning. The sky will remain incompletely overcast winding up commonly shady towards the evening and night, with a plausibility of light rain towards the night," an India Meteorological Department (IMD) official said. The air quality in Delhi was recorded in the 'very poor' category with the general Air Quality Index (AQI) recorded at 382, as indicated by the System of Air Quality and Weather Forecasting And Research. The visibility toward the beginning of the day was 300 meters at around 8.30 a.m. which enhanced to 400 meters by 9.30 a.m. Moistness at 8.30 a.m. was recorded at 100 percent - a very negative condition for pollutants to disperse. The maximum temperature amid the day is relied upon to float around 22 degrees Celsius. On Friday, the minimum temperature was recorded at 4.8 degrees Celsius, three notches underneath the season's normal, while the most extreme settled at 22.3 degrees Celsius, two notches over the season's normal.
