Suzlon and Adani Group Will invest 55,000 crores in Gujarat Hybrid Renewable Energy Park
Ahmedabad: On the final day of Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit, Renewable Energy Agreements for investment of more than 1 lakh crores were made. The largest Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) Adani Group, 30,000 crore, in which the company will invest in Hybrid Wind-Solar Energy Park in Gujarat. Apart from this, Suzlon, India's largest wind turbine manufacturer, has invested Rs 25,000. Gujarat's Torrent Powers Rs. 9,000 crore renewable energy and power distribution agreements. As Energy Minister Saurabh Patel informed that the state government is preparing an integrated policy for small solar power producers which will be announced soon. Apart from this, Anand Kumar, secretary of the Center's New and Renewable Energy Department, informed that the tender for the first offshore wind park in India will be out of the tender in one month.
