Train 18: Vande Bharat Express suffers damage to driver’s screen and windows of coaches
CPRO Northern Railways: In an incident near Achalda (UP), Kanpur-Tundla sec on 23 Feb, Vande Bharat Express suffered damages to main driver's screen & 8 windows of 7 coaches due to flying ballast which came towards it when Dibrugarh Rajdhani, on adjoining line, had cattle run over. The en-route damage was assessed by the travelling technical team on board Vande Bharat Express and after careful examination the train was found fit, so it to carried on its onward journey to its destination station at its normal speed. Railways are attending to the damaged windows with safety sheets to ensure that the train runs as per schedule on 24.02.2019 and the passengers are not inconvenienced in anyway.
